Yes, this is a public event. Anyone is welcome to come and taste samples of all the amazing soups. Purchase a ticket and bring a friend (ticket required, friend is not). Get tickets here.
No. The best part is you don't have to bring a soup. If you want to attend and taste all the wonderful soups, you are welcome to do so. . If you are a good cook or a professional cook/restaurant and would like to bring a soup, you would register as a chef instead of general public ticket purchase..
Chef entries sell out fast but if you can make the entry in time, you are welcome to become a chef at this event. Please visit our "Chef Entry" page to get the details about being a chef. Register to become a chef here.
You'll get a spoon at the registration table and enter the ballroom. Walk around the room stopping at each chef table to sample their soups and feel free to talk to them about their methods. As you get full, you'll want to visit the vendors and then come back for more soup. When you've pick your favorites, cast your votes.
Yes. Tickets are sold online in advance OR at the door. Ticket prices at the door will be higher than online ticket sales.
The proceeds from this event are donated to the non-profit AKT Foundation, which is a 501c3 organization. They are dedicated to helping the homeless by providing essential items, including toiletries, clothing, shoes, and coats.

Yes. This is a family event and we welcome everyone. Children 5 and under can attend for free. And look for our "Kidz Zone" at the Carlisle Expo Center.
Haha,probably not but come prepared to eat some soup. Past comments from our comments cards include "I have soup belly" and "I have a food coma." And it is not just soup at the event, refreshments and a dessert table are also available.
